The Strategy: Develop an online "You're the Celebrity" contest where customers create TV commercials for INB. Intermix bank-produced content to educate and connect with site visitors.

The Challenge: Determine what kind of hotel to build in an over crowded market.

 

The Strategy: Create a boutique upscale hotel in the only unoccupied lodging class in the market. Create an Urban experience to cater to the corporate guest from regional hubs.

Fast Tire Independent Tire Retailer in Lake County, Illinois.


Challenge: 27 years ago, when the tire store opened, (as Antioch Tire) Antioch was considerably smaller. Now, it has a Wal-Mart, an NTB (National Tire and Battery) and a Discount Tire on the way. How do you reinvent a business that has largely been commoditized?


The Strategy: Create a new name, shorten the wait while vastly improving the experience and place a Starbucks Cafe in the lobby. It's a revolutionary tire retailer coveted by Goodyear and Firestone.

The Challenge: Take a restaurant with questionable word-of-mouth and rapidly declining sales and turn it around before the lease is set to expire.

 

The Solution: Change the customer experience and develop a sales path that turns one selling opportunity into dozens of restaurant visits. Revamp the creative program and strengthen the brand perception.

 

Some additional success stories...

 

Mattress Store with 18 locations in the Chicago market. Year one increases of 34% in same store sales. Year two increases of an additional 43% with an increase in locations from eighteen to twenty six. Brand Champion advised their media placement and broadcast campaign creation. The Mattress Store's advertising spending as a percentage of sales remained the same with no increase in budget in year one.

Car Dealer in Reno, Nevada. Spent $5,000 on one weekend event sale that produced three cars sold. After Brand Champion completed a market analysis and deployment, the next twelve months realized sales increases of 119%. The average advertising cost per vehicle went from almost $600 per car to $380 per car. Thirty months after starting the campaign, the number of vehicles sold went from 30 to 120 per month.

Furniture Store in Omaha, Nebraska. A five-location retailer (with annual sales of 29 million) competing with the nation's largest furniture store (with annual sales of $420 million). After spending time analyzing the competitor's strengths and weakness, Brand Champion devised a strategy that is on target to move the client 2% ahead in total market share after being stuck at 11% for 4½ years.

Dental Group in Peoria, Illinois saw an increase in sales of 41% in the first year and an additional 26% in year two. The client had wrestled with "How do we add more dentists and get them to capacity in the shortest amount of time?" They had never considered branding before, but have found it to be about 2/3 the cost of their traditional marketing strategies of direct mail and print.

Bank in Marquette, Michigan struggling with a 16% decline of market population and the addition of three new Credit Unions discovered that owning one segment of the marketplace was far more successful than attempting to push the rates of their loans and interest-bearing accounts. The goal was to maintain market share; the result was a growth of 10% when the rest of the market was in decline.
